Questions
Do AI agents count as seats?+
No. Agents and readers never pay. You connect as many agents as you want, and a rate limit per minute keeps usage fair.
Why do plans limit notes?+
The number of notes is what drives the cost of indexing and search by meaning, and it is easy to understand. There are no AI credits to track.
Do public vaults count against my plan?+
Notes in a public vault count toward the plan of whoever published it. Anyone can read, search and connect an agent to it without an account.
Can I self-host instead?+
Yes. markupp is open source under AGPL v3 and runs with docker compose up. Enterprise adds installation support and an SLA.
Is billing per person or per workspace?+
Per workspace. Free and Pro are for one person, Max is a flat price for a team of 10, and Enterprise is priced per person with an annual contract.
